HILLSBOROUGH HISTORICAL SOCIETY
OUR MISSION:
- To collect, preserve, and exhibit objects and documents pertinent to the history of Hillsborough and to the life and legacy of Hillsborough’s native son Franklin Pierce, 14th U.S. President.
- To provide a museum where accessibility to our expertise, books, primary sources, research files, and Manahan-Phelps-McCulloch Photo Collection exists for researchers of all ages.
- To generate interest in Hillsborough’s rich historical, architectural, military, and cultural heritage by offering public programs and by supporting local and state entities with the same goal.
Please Note: The Hillsborough Historical Society concerns itself with the Town of Hillsborough New Hampshire. And while the town is within the county of Hillsborough New Hampshire, we do not focus on historical records at the county level.
