“History Happened Here: NH’s Underground Railroad Agents and Hidden Black History”

Presented by Michelle Arnosky Sherburne, Vermont Historian and author.

Learn about NH’s hidden history about slavery, slave trade, and NH natives who helped fugitive enslaved people on their journey to freedom.  Includes history that happened in Hillsborough County in North Weare, Peterborough, and Clinton Grove’s abolitionist academy. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
